Stupidity in movies

You know what I hate? Seeing biographical movies, about people who you know have sadness in their lives or sad endings.
Take last night: I was watching the story of Jane Austen and how she met and fell in love Tom LeFroy. I mean, you watch them fall in love and have hardships, and even though I knew that they Jane ended up a spinster, I thought that maybe the movie could end happily. But know, they are parted forever and it is all very depressing! That is why all the books that I read and write will have happy endings. Because sadness sucks!

That's all for now
R

PS, I will admit it was a lovely movie while they were happily in love

Thoughts of a Bear

Thank you everyone for your posts!!!! Also thanks for a great meeting yesterday. Great discussion about the book and I'm glad you all unanimously loved "Elsewhere" by Gabrielle Zevin. I realized I can't keep asking you to post if I don't post myself....so here goes...

This is my favourite Winnie the Pooh quote:
"Don't underestimate the value of Doing Nothing, of just going along, listening to all the things you can't hear, and not bothering".

BTW: I love Winnie the Pooh. He's a very wise bear.

LINDA!!! I'm posting!

Hello people,
How are your lives going? Super spectacular, I hope.
It's another ordinary day, although aren't all days extraordinary? There I go, always contradicting myself. I don't like cold weather. It's not fun. You can't go and play tennis because usually it's raining and you also get cold when you take your dog for a walk unless you bundle up in a scarf and mitts and I hat. And by the time you do that and then go for a walk it's taken longer to get ready than the actually walk took. Ahh... Why don't we all move to Florida? But we can't all move to Florida because we'd overcrowd it so why don't some of us move to Hawaii. Okay, moving on.

And what is with people and knitting? It's so repetitive, I've been working on the same hat for 3 years!!! Maybe that's just because I lack commitment in my knitting projects but really, doesn't anyone ever get bored of it?

I must leave know, you must be sad. But get over it.
Until next time!

On a lighter point

I know this sounds sort of emo and stuff but its actually reallllly cool and pretty.
Go to the beach (i recommend cresecent beach) when its rainy and cloudy. its awesome. and crescent beach has all these really cool trails and things that lead down to it and its really fun!
Try it out, fall is here. its a good time! just dress warm and if you need it, just buy hot apple cider or hot cocoa after!

To all you opinion Changers. eat cilantro!

You now what sort of makes me angry?
People who are going out with someone and you hang out with them alot and they are nice...AT THE BEGINNING. and they are so URGH that they dont start to change their opinions to agree with the gf. For example:
Person A and B are going out.
Person B promises person S to go with the talent show @ lunch with them.
We get there. Person B says, "nahh I actually dont really want to cuz my bro is in it tomrrow not today." So person S leaves and finds somebody else to join her. Now person S and C go to the line of the talent show to go watch the show cuz person S found a new person. Person C. and then GUESS WHOS IN THE LINE. PERSON B! JUST BECAUSE PERSON A wanted to go to the show. Gee Whiz. And whenever person A and S are debating about some random issue, even though person B agreed with person S the day before. Because person B's girlfriend, person A, thinks something else, now they must change their opinion. *throws hands in the air*
i am so tired of this.
Just thought this would be a good place to vent:P

Funnyness

Today at the lunch table, my mother said, "Now, I want everyone to think of something nice about the other people at the table."
My little sister, who was slightly disgruntled with the day's proceedings, replied, "The only nice thing I can say about everyone at this table is that we're not cannibals."
Of course, this was met with relentless laughing and we had to wait for five minutes before we could carry on with lunch.
Maybe I'm the only person who thinks this is funny, but I had to write it down, to commemerate the hilarity.
Happy Valentine's day!

Valentine's Day

Hello all.
As you all know, today is Valentine's Day. A day we celebrate love and the amazement of two souls being knit together to form one perfect being. But that's the romantic explanation.
Really, St Valentine wasa fellow who illegally married couples, without the blessing of the church. Because he did this, the church was pissed off and decided to kill the bugger.
So hundreds of years later, we decided to celebrate this man, who sacrificed everything for the happiness of others.
Isn't that nice??????

I cannot wait for the next Harry Potter movie to come out!!!!!!!!!! I know Daniel Radcliffe has cut his hair, and it is now abominably short, but it's okay because of his wonderous accent. Not that he isn't quite adorable in all his movies, Daniel looks his more splendiferous in movie 3. I mean, seriously: that hair(short but not to short) and those eyes(so clear blue it makes me sigh).
CIAO!
